Install only from play store
Never download and install apps from unknown sources, always try to stick with Google Play store or the App store. Installing apps from those unauthorized websites may risk your privacy and security since Google or Apple doesn’t have control over there. We never know what kind of malicious code that the app comes with. So always try not to do this to secure your valuable data.
Using Antivirus apps
Speaking of privacy and security, there are still many people who think that it is necessary to install an antivirus app on our smartphone. Well, no, these apps are not needed. If we take PCs or laptops, it is a different ball game, but for our smartphones, they are quite smart themselves and they don’t quite need an antivirus app installed.
Using Battery saver apps
Using some random apps for improving battery life should be avoided. These apps do no good in optimizing your battery but takes a toll on your battery life. So, avoid installing these apps for better performance.

Killing background apps
This is one thing most of us do. Removing the apps from the background. It may clear some memory by doing so, but it is not advised to kill the background apps often. Because, once you reopen the app, it starts from scratch and it is advised to leave the apps you often use, run in the background.
Clearing cache memory
It is similar to killing the background apps, clearing the cache memory will result in increased storage space, but it is not good to do it more often. These cache memories are temporary data collected by the app or site for optimal performance, so often deleting the cache memory or installing an app to do, should be avoided. Well, if the storage space is running quite low and if you need some extra space, you can manually delete them once in a while.
Ignoring app permissions
This is an important thing that everyone should follow. You shouldn’t be careless with the app permissions, because it may lead to a serious privacy threat. Always pay attention to the permissions you are granting while installing an app or spare the extra time, and look at the permissions that have been granted for the apps you’ve installed, in your Settings, and if you find anything odd disable it or maybe uninstall the app if anything seems suspicious.
Not restarting your phone
Yes, smartphones are designed for prolonged usage and all. But still, it is a good practice to restart your device once in a while and most of us don’t do this. Restarting your smartphone once in a week or maybe once in ten days or fifteen days will have a really good impact, it improves the battery life, prevents the device from crashing, it is good for memory management and so on.
